Recorded Script Examples

PLAYING WOODSTOCK – Audio Play

An audio adaptation of a screenplay written by screenwriter, Ian Cox. The story is a nostalgic look back through the eyes of 2 (fictitious) British singer/songwriters and their dreams of playing the iconic 1969 music Woodstock festival.
(This was originally recorded as a table read, in a room with less-than-ideal acoustics. A narrator read the scenes and action lines. The audio was all comped from 2 takes, edited, and all narration, taken out. Some additional dialogue was then recorded remotely and matched in. Music, Foley and SFX were then added to complete a very ‘visual’ audio play.)
